Through our parent and carer coaching sessions, we'll provide you with the essential knowledge and skills to help you understand where your loved one is at in their journey, and how to provide them with the right support. Whether it's emotional support, such as creating a safe and nurturing environment, or practical support, like helping with grocery shopping and cooking, our sessions will empower you to provide effective support that can contribute to their lasting recovery.

Supporting your wellbeing
Developing skills to support your own mental health - modelling emotional regulation.
Meal support skills
Skills to provide supportive and and effective meal support for your loved one.
Understanding perspectives
Help to understand what your loved one might be going through from a lived experience perspective - providing hope and motivation so you can stay strong for your loved one.
Creating a safe environment
Help to create a safe recovery oriented environment for your loved one at home.
Tools and resources
Provide you with tools and additional information such as books and worksheets.
Language
Develop skills in appropriate and encouraging language to use around your loved one and in the home - removing diet products, or language from home environment.
Skills development
Build a repertoire of skills to provide your loved one: Reassurance, patience and guidance, etc.

This service is to help the carer and family specifically with strategies to care for their loved one and themselves. If your child is over 18, you will need to ask for their consent to share information with us.
