The Uncovery Story
How we got here
Uncovery was born out of personal experience and a genuine desire to help those in need.
Olivia, our founder, personally struggled with an eating disorder and found herself facing many obstacles during her recovery journey. The pathway often felt so focused on the clinical aspect of recovery, that there wasn’t support for what happens when you go back home, or finding deeper healing and purpose. How did people transition back into reality? How did they find value in life again? No one was there to help her with what comes next.
Olivia knew something was missing in eating disorder recovery services available in Australia. And so, deeply driven by her experience, Olivia was inspired to establish Uncovery in 2018.
Why we do what we do
Our team, based in Melbourne and Perth but available (virtually) worldwide, understands just how challenging and, at times, isolating the journey to recovery from disordered eating can be. That’s why we strive to bridge the gaps in support and create a more holistic approach to recovery. We emphasise practical reintegration into everyday life during and beyond treatment, empowering you with the skills and tools you need to help build a sustainable path to food freedom.
As eating disorder recovery coaches, we act as an extension to your treatment teams, guiding you through the practical steps of making behaviour changes to support your recovery. With a focus on individualised and accessible support, we work alongside you, your family, and any treatment providers you may have to ensure a collaborative and successful journey.
Our unique approach takes into account your daily routines, rituals, and behaviours, giving us a deeper understanding of any roadblocks you may encounter on your road to recovery. Even if you haven't been diagnosed with an eating disorder, we're here to help you break free from disordered eating and build a healthier relationship with food and your body.
We truly believe that recovery is possible, so if you're ready to reclaim your life, we're here to support you every step of the way.

MEET CHARLOTTE (she/her)
Recovery Coach
VIRTUAL WORLDWIDE
Charlotte is an eating disorder recovery coach who is deeply passionate about helping others achieve full recovery and live their lives to the fullest.
During her own recovery journey, Charlotte was left with the feeling that something was missing from the treatment she received. She wished she could have talked to someone who had been there, someone who could give her hope that it is absolutely possible to fully recover from an eating disorder.
This is why after completing her degrees in law and social work, she used her experience and became one of the first recovery coaches in Belgium.
Charlotte takes an individualistic approach to help, guide, support, encourage, motivate, empower and challenge her clients. She likes to create a space where clients can grow and become the greatest version of themselves.
Charlotte is now based in Perth and speaks English, French and Dutch. She is a certified Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) professional and has completed a Mindfulness training.
Charlotte has experience working with teenagers, young people and adults recovering from restrictive eating disorders (Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa and Orthorexia).
